Kazakhstan’s Kashagan oil field increases production

Daily oil production at the Kashagan offshore field in Kazakhstan's Atyrau region has increased, said Antonio Vella, ENI’s Chief Upstream Officer at the meeting with the head of Atyrau region Nurlan Nogayev, Kazakh media outlets reported.

"We have recently conducted a meeting with the Ministry of Energy in Astana, we discussed the plan of work which will be conducted in the near future at the Kashagan field. The plant is well designed, oil production is going in fast pace. Daily production at Kashagan makes 300 000 barrels per day with application of advanced technology of gas injection," said Antonio Vella, Chief Upstream Officer in ENI.

Nogayev said the executive bodies will provide comprehensive support to performance of the projects.
