Event Profile: Atyrau Oil & Gas 2009 presents the products and services of more than 100 companies from 13 countries including: Azerbaijan, China, Finland, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States. It is particularly interesting that there are a greater number of Kazakhstan exhibitors and a growing interest in the event from Russian companies (27% of total exhibitors). Exhibitors include a range of companies including: KazMunaiGas Exploration & Production and EmbaMunaiGas; Agip KCO and TengizChevroil; Komek Machinery and BTS/CORD International; Denholm Zholdas and Khazar Transfo; HSBC Bank Kazakhstan and Borkit International. New Products: There will be a presentation at the event of Komatsu’s new development, Komtrax construction machinery satellite monitoring system, organised by KOMEK MACHINERY Kazakhstan LLP. All performance capabilities of the new system will be demonstrated at the exhibition in real-time (7 April, 15-00 till 16-30, 3rd Floor, Atyrau Sports Complex). New products will also be demonstrated at presentation seminars by Antares Group LTD LLP, Alex Company, and EnergoTrade – 2007.
Conference: OilTech Kazakhstan 2009 is being held at the Renaissance Atyrau Hotel in a format of plenary sessions, with 100 delegates accredited. This year, the conference will be addressed by senior managers and directors from companies such as Shell Kazakhstan; TengizChevroil; Lloyds Register; Agip KCO; PSN; HSBC Bank Kazakhstan; Yokogawa Europe Solutions B.V. The OilTech Kazakhstan 2009 conference programme features reports by senior representatives of about 20 oil and gas industry organisations. The key subjects to be discussed include: Status and Implementation of Breakthrough Projects; Development of Kashagan Field; Financing the System of Supplies to Kazakhstan; Education and Training of National Cadres for Oil and Gas Industry and Their Subsequent Employment.
A series of meetings of heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Kazakhstan with entrepreneurs and government authorities are scheduled to take place at the same time as the exhibition and conference. The British Ambassador and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and representatives of trade missions of the United States, Russia, France, and Bulgaria will visit both events.
