Over 140 companies from 15 countries will exhibit this year. Participating countries include Russia, USA, China, France, Canada and UK. National groups from Lithuania and Czech Republic will participate for the first time. The Atyrau Regional Administration stand will also present investment projects in the region.
The opening ceremony will be hosted by Bolat Daukenov, the Deputy Mayor of the Atyrau Region; Zhandarbek Kakishev, Chairman of the National Agency for Development of Local Content (NADLoC); Birzhan Alshimbaev, Director of the Department of Strategic Development and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kairat Urazbaev, Deputy Director of the Refining and Petrochemicals Unit of KazMunaiGaz, and other key figures.
The Atyrau Regional Petroleum Technology Conference, held alongside the exhibition, also commences today with opening addresses from Bakhyt Makharov, Deputy Director of the Oil Industry Development Department of the Kazakhstan Ministry of Oil and Gas, and others.
The conferences programme is divided into sessions which cover the whole spectrum of technologies for exploration and production in the North Caspian, This includes production and reservoir management; oil processing; exploration and geology; offshore and onshore technologies, plus much more.
The exhibition and conference is sponsored by Caspian Motors, Caspian Offshore Construction, Hempel, Lloyd’s Register, Prime Aviation and Swagelok.
