According to him, a preparatory work, including measures on creation of infrastructure of “National Industrial Petrochemical Technology Park” free economic zone and the first integrated gas chemical complex, was held. In 2008 KZT 10 bln was allocated for the construction. Contracts on development of design and estimate documentation in 2009 and ensuring construction start were reached.
“In 2009 it is necessary: first of all – to realize activities on functioning of “National Industrial Petrochemical Technology Park” free economic zone in Atyrau region; secondly – ensure start of the construction of the infrastructure of the first integrated gas chemical complex in Atyrau oblast; thirdly – to start construction of petrochemical productions of asphaltic cement at the Aktau plant of plastic materials and installations on production of aromatic compounds at refineries and Karabatan”, the Minister said.
