On 6-8 April 2010, Atyrau witnessed the success of the major April events of Kazakhstan and Caspian Region oil and gas complex: Atyrau Oil, Gas & Infrastructure 2010 Exhibition and OilTech Atyrau Conference. The events were traditionally organised by Iteca, a Kazakhstan exhibition company, and its international partners from the United Kingdom and Germany. Official support was provided by the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan, Atyrau Oblast and Atyrau City Akimats, and KazMunaiGas Exploration & Production JSC. NCOC performed as the lead sponsor of the exhibition and conference. The forum was also sponsored by Lloyd's Register, Rixos President Astana Hotel, and VWS Oil&Gas.
