On behalf of the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I am happy to welcome you to the 10th Jubilee Regional Atyrau Oil, Gas & Infrastructure Exhibition and the 5th Jubilee Atyrau Regional OILTECH Atyrau Oil & Gas Technology Conference in the oil capital of Kazakhstan, the city of Atyrau.
Kazakhstan is one of the largest oil-producing powers where the oil and gas sector efficiently fuels the activity of all spheres of the country’s economy with Atyrau being the locomotive of the oil and gas industry.
In the year of its inception, the Exhibition proved to be a well-timed and important event both for the development of the Caspian region in terms of resolving a complex of economic issues, implementation of major investment projects, and construction of new facilities, and for the development of Kazakhstan’s industry on the whole. Over 10 years of its existence, this event has become a traditional meeting place for oil and gas industry professionals not only of the Caspian region and Kazakhstan but of the entire global oil and gas community.
We are confident that the 2011 Exhibition and Conference will traditionally allow demonstrating achievements of Kazakhstan and international manufacturers, promising technologies, and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with partners.
