I am happy to welcome exhibitors and guests to the annual North Caspian Regional Exhibition Atyrau Oil&Gas and Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Technology Conference OilTech Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan has to date become one of the leading countries in the Eurasian region. The role of a successfully developing oil and gas industry in the context of building a stable international and regional status of the country is a major one.
One of the most important national policies is building of strong commercial inks with other countries and integration with the world economy. To achieve that, we will need to continue the development of all industrial sectors in Kazakhstan. However, the oil and gas sector remains to be the powerhouse in this process. In this respect, strategic significance of the Western Kazakhstan region in the country’s political and economic life is undisputed. The city of Atyrau is known to be the oil capital of Kazakhstan, and it is no coincidence that Atyrau has been selected a venue for annual meetings between leading oil and gas companies, including Atyrau Oil&Gas.
For eight years, Atyrau Oil&Gas has brought together leading Kazakhstan and foreign oil and gas companies under one roof, which demonstrates the efficiency of the event. The exhibition aims to demonstrate the latest achievements in the industry and enhance a more intensive exchange of the best practices in introduction advanced and innovative technologies between foreign and domestic companies.
The OilTech Kazakhstan Technology Conference, held during the exhibition, provides an opportunity to discuss current issues, help find solutions for pressing problems and further co-operation. This opens new horizons for enterprise development and has a positive effect on social and economic reforms in the region.
